Mérida, Yucatán, January 30, 2024. Cultur informs that starting today and for the next two weeks, the Dzibilchaltún tourist center will remain closed to the public due to work being done by the INAH in that archaeological area.

According to an official letter sent by the federal institution, it states: "... as a result of the work being carried out through the Promeza program (Archaeological Zone Improvement Program) at the facilities of the Dzibilchaltún Archaeological Zone visitor center, and considering the potential implications this may have for visitors, it will remain closed to the public starting Tuesday, January 30 of this year and for a period of two weeks from the required date."
