In 24 hours, neighbors of Yucatan have already separated the 5 puppies rescued by Cultur in Chichén

The only thing left to do is the mother of the puppies, who is very docile and affectionate
Mérida, Yucatan, January 25, 2024. In less than 24 hours since Cultur reported the rescue of six dogs, as part of the "Operation Rescue of Kukulkán Puppies", several neighbors of Yucatan have already separated them, to have them.
The only one that remains pending in the mother, as expected because she is already a big dog and people prefer puppies, even the first ones that were requested were the males.
The people who asked for the animals are: A person who lives in Temozón, gray puppy; another who lives in Tinum, a black puppy; one more, who lives in Tizimín, requested a black puppy; another from Merida asked for a gray puppy; one who lives in Tinum, a black puppy.
As reported, those interested will have to wait a month, the approximate time indicated by MVZ Antonio Ríos Pérez, from Planed Pethood, for the animals to stop depending on the mother and start eating kibble.
It should be noted that, according to Lourdes Durán Leal, from the Perpópolis association, who has them under her protection as an animal protection association, and who is in charge of determining in which cases adoption is or is not appropriate, given the conditions where the puppies will live.
In addition, once that time has elapsed, they will be given comprehensive care, and then the new owners of the puppies will have the responsibility of continuing to care for them with their vaccinations, and other attention.
Mauricio Díaz Montalvo, general director of Cultur, thanked the interest that people showed in adopting the "sacred dogs", because they help an animal to have a home where it will find love, food and a much safer life than the one they have in the mountains of Chichén Itzá.
-We are sure that soon someone will also be interested in the mother of the puppies because she is a very kind, affectionate, playful dog... In short, he is loved and coexists perfectly with people," said Durán Leal.
It should be noted that if they do not manage to have a puppy, they are on the waiting list in case they regret any of what has already separated them, although they all made the commitment to keep the animals when it happens.
Anyone interested in getting on the waiting list to have a puppy or to adopt the mother of the puppies, please contact Lourdes Durán, from Perpópolis, at 9991 52 30 73.
